Frequently asked questions
Dear applicant,

You are not eligible to apply if your date of birth is before 01-06-1985 even by a single day. Any field experience or govt./semi govt. service background will not make you eligible to apply if you are overage.

You are not eligible to apply if you have any third division in your career.

You are not eligible to apply if you have not first division in your final BE, BSc(Engg) etc. degree.

You are not eligible to apply if you have more than one second divisions in your career.

The written test paper will be MCQ type, containing 100 questions in all. 40 questions will be general in nature from pure/ physical sciences of inter and BSc level. 60 questions will be from the concerned field of specialization of the applicant. Studying intermediate level physics with concepts and application of intermediate level mathematics will be helpful for your general part of the paper.

Only those candidates will be called for interview after they qualify in written test whose final result is expected to declare by December 2012.

You are not eligible to apply if the university from which you have got graduation or post graduation degree is not recognized by HEC.

You are not eligible to apply if your degree is not recognized by Pakistan Engineering Council.

The written test will be held on July 15, 2012. The candidates who will qualify in the written test will be called for interview in the first week of August 2012.

Applications are not accepted through e-mail. Apply through proper procedure as advertised in the news papers.

If you have GPA system in your degree, then you must have at least 2.5 GPA on the scale of 4.0, or at least 3.5 on the scale of 5.0, which is considered as minimum score for grade B. Correction of CGPA into division by Higher education commission will be final
