Q-1       How can I get Application Form for Post Diploma Training Program?

Ans.    Application Form/Admit Card can be obtained

Q- 2      Where will the Written Test be conducted?

Ans.    Written Tests will be conducted in several major cities of Pakistan mentioned in the Application Form. You have to appear at the Test Center marked by you in the Application Form. All the details of your application and test centers will be available on our website.

Q-3   I have done HSC in First division; can I apply for PDTP.?

Ans.    Only those candidates who have obtained Matric and Diploma of Associate Engineering with First division in the advertised fields, can apply in this program.

Q-4      What qualification of candidates are required to apply in PDTP?

Ans.    Following are the qualification criterion for candidates to apply in PDTP.

• The candidates must have 3 year Diploma of Associate Engineer (DAE) recognized by the Board of Technical Education in the following technologies:

  For training at KINPOE:
  Chemical,    Computer,    Electrical,     Electronics, Instrumentation,        Mechanical,        Metallurgical, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning,          Power or Welding.

  For training at CHASCENT:
  Chemical  Electrical  Electronics  Mechanical  Instrumentation

  
  

• The candidate must have first division (i.e. minimum 60% marks) in Matric and Diploma.

• Age not more than 25 years on June 07, 2008.

Q-5     My final year result will not be announced before November 01, 2008. Can I apply?

Ans. KINPOE must have your  final year result on or before October 31, 2008 in order to select you. Candidates not conveying their result to KINPOE by this date will not be selected.

Q-6       I am only one day overage according to the criteria stated in your advertisement. Can I apply?

Ans.    Maximum age limit for this program is 25 years on June 07, 2008. You are overage and therefore, not eligible to apply.

Q- 7      How can I get sample test paper for the Written Test of PDTP?

Ans. Sample test paper will be  mailed to the eligible candidates along with their Admit Cards. You can also download the Sample Test  from our website.

Q- 8      How many trainees will be inducted in this program? What is the quota for different provinces?

Ans. Total number of seats depends upon the manpower requirement of PAEC, which may vary from year to year. There is no distribution of seats on regional basis; selection is made purely on merit. There is no quota for this program.

Q-9      I have done Matriculation in First division; can I apply for PDTP.?

Ans.  Only those candidates who have obtained Diploma of Associate Engineer with First division can apply in this program. Only matriculate candidates can not apply.
