Master of Science in Nuclear Power Engineering

The design, construction and operation of a nuclear reactor and its associated facilities require knowledge of many areas of science and engineering. To provide a broad based technical knowledge KINPOE offers the degree of Master of Science in Nuclear Power Engineering to candidates from diverse engineering and scientific backgrounds. All candidates are offered a fellowship by Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission to undertake this course. On completion of the degree, the Fellows may be required to work at Nuclear Power Plants and related installations of PAEC. The academic program is of two-year duration which is spread over a seven week zero semester and five regular semesters of 14 weeks each.
