Eligibility Criteria For MS at KINPOE: 

(Year 2008-2010)

• Candidates must have

B.E. / B.Sc. Engineering Degree in any one of the following fields:

• Chemical               

• Computer Systems           

• Electrical                        

• Electronics

• Industrial Electronics          

• Mechanical

• Mechatronics                  

• Metallurgy

Or M.Sc. Degree in any one of the following fields.

• Applied Physics                                         

• Computer Science  (with Physics in B.Sc.)

• Physics   

• Materials Science    (with Physics in B.Sc.)

Or 4-year BS / BCIT in

• Computer Science / Information technology after HSC Pre-Engineering.

• Candidate must be a Pakistani citizen.

• Maximum age 30 years on October 31, 2008 (i.e. should have been born on or after October 31, 1978).

• Throughout first class career (i.e. minimum 60% marks) is required. However, one second division (i.e. minimum 45% marks) may be allowed except in the final degree.

• For Engineers: Degrees must be recognized by Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC)

  For Scientists: Degrees must be recognized by Higher Education Commission (HEC) (Ex. University Grants Commission).  Final acceptability / equivalence of degree rests with PIEAS.

• Candidates appearing in final examination may also apply but they must have completed all requirements for the degree by their Joining date (expected in first week of December, 2008).
